One of my cousins called me tonight.  He just bought a rail buggy and he's trying to get it going.  This is his first air-cooled VW and he was wanting some help.  The only dual carbs I've ever messed with on an air cooled engine were made by Rochester and were on my '62 Corvair . . . and I've tried my best to forget everything I could about those carbs!!  Anyway, he says he needs a float for one of them and would rather not resort to buying new parts (maybe it's something in our blood  ).  He said the carbs are Solex H40/44EI.  Anybody got a good used float laying around that will get him going?  If so, let me know what you want for it.
