need drivers side window regulator for 67 beetle

the weld broke on dad's 66 and this one has been patched before so it is time for a replacement,  not sure which years will fit thanks

We put regulators from a 67 that we parted out in Justin's 74 Super years ago.  They had two lift points vs. the 68 and later regulators that just lift from the center.  They really helped with the one piece windows.  Anyway, the driver's door was a replacement from a 71 Super and the passenger door was original  We were able to bolt the 67 regulators in both doors, but it seems like one or the other door we had do some drilling or bending to everything to mount . . . it's been over 10 years, so I couldn't really say for sure.

I think I had a point to saying all that, but by the time I go through I can't remember what it was . . .

Oh, yeah . . . I think the regulators were the same from 65-67 . . . but I would bet you could use a later regulator IF you also use the metal piece that holds the glass from a later model.
