I need to find a steering column for a 71 super beetle vert, can anyone help me out??? I live in the north georgia area, so i would like to find something local but a website would help too! Thanks!

Im not sure what the differences, if any are between a vert and a sedan steering columns are but if they interchange then Alvin Vaughn in Dalton has loads of sedan ones. I have his number if you need it.

Alvin should have one. He got a 71 super sedan from Alex Davis not long ago that even had a key in the switch . . . I know, because I gave the car to Alex to haul it off for me and I had forgotten to pull the switch and door handles off of it first. It went to Alvin in a package deal when Alex sold all of his Volkswagens.

By the way, do you need the whole collumn, or just some parts? I've got a lot of collumn parts out in the garage . . . In fact, I've got two or three complete collumns, but no Super Beetle collumns.
