Dog gonnit, you got me.  I thought that I had done good,  after reading your post, I went back and re-checked the wiper motor to make sure it parks.....  it dont.  both speeds work but it dont park.  So, just hang loose, I've got more.  I'll go back to work, I didnt know it but, I discovered that the "Park"  is controlled inside the motor, and not the switch.  I would have guessed it being the switch.  learn something new every day.  I have a couple more motors I'll pull.  when I get it together, I'll e-mail you.

Boone , You are not first Dude that had that happen.  Take off the little cover(2 tiny screws) right above the plug-in and you will see a set of contact points controlled by a little rod coming from the internal gear train cam. Most of the time the points break, but sometimes they just get stuck from old hard grease. You might luck out.  Don't toss them. The original 2 speed 12v of that style is slowly getting on the endangered species list.  You can  buy a retro- armature  to convert 6v to a 12v, but they are still 1 speed.

David, I gotcha fixed up now...  I sent you an e-mail  to the hotmail account?? is that still good?  anyway,  I took the motor apart and just as you figured, it was stuck with old hard grease.   I cleaned it all up with some contact cleaner, put a little new grease on the gears and plunger, then I re tested it... works like a charm. 2 speeds and parks.  I will get that thing shipped to you as soon as I get your address..  UPS.   my e-mail  is    vw38@wvva.net
