That means I get to play with it
Look at it closely. You might learn something  ;) Smelly Cat could have it running in a day or too except he would start bitching about the oil leaks.

The club is going to purchase the engine and it will be on display at Village VW.

That makes me smile really big.  It was the option that made the most sense, and it keeps it in the clubs hands, plus allows it public viewing.

Awesome guys.  Simply awesome.   8)

Oh, and Travis... you stay away from it.... you're gonna get in trouble if they catch you...  :D

It's in the bus already, I could take it down to Village to unload it.  I need to clean up the stand, and touch up a couple of paint scratches, but other than that, should be good to go.  You guys just let me know.

Nope . . . He would take some of his recycled aluminum and make a catch pan and put the pump out of a kenmore washer in the pan to pump the oin back into the engine.  Not that I've ever considered anything like that . . .   ;D

I believe Betty is supposed to be getting you a check for the purchase price. As for delivery, we have to coordinate that with village and we want to make sure that if we need to clean the stand or anything, that someone would be there to do that.

Someone mentioned display security and liability just in an interest to protect it from vandalism and us, the club, from liability in the event of an incident. We decided to double check our policy and get everything in writing to make sure that it is well known who owns the display and establish the relationship with Village regarding the engine.

Don't worry; we want it and will pay. There wasn't a hand raised in opposition. You must be needing the money for a certain vehicle you are working on???

hahahaha.... nope... I have no money left, but I bought everything already... I hope...  :-[   :D

I just wanted to know what I need to be doing to help the process.  It sounds like just keep working on my big ugly car untill somebody gives me a shout.   :)

Thanks, Nick!

I did like how you could enguage a slower starter to rotate every thing.
Rick, is yours rotatable? or is it locked down?
