In the last two days I've been contacted by two people who want sell their Besco Folding Trailers.
One is ready to roll and has new tires (from Scenic City Scooters). The trailer is in good shape but does not have the original wire frame canvas storage bag. Instead the ower has mounted two black plastic tool boxes for weather-proof storage. He has also installed some led taillights, but says the original taillights are still there, in good shape and function properly. He said the plastic fenders are like new. He wants $225 for the trailer without the boxes and led lights or $300 with the boxes and leds. He's in Tifton, GA but will deliver it for $50 plus gas (pulling it with his Harley he gets about 40 mpg).
The other one is a more interesting find. It's an original Besco trailer and has the bike rack, but no wire frame canvas bag. It's never been on the road and still has the paperwork to file for the original title. The only two downsides to this one is 1) it's in New Mexico, and 2) it's missing the tounge. Shipping shouldn't be much . . . without the tounge, it' probably weighs less than 65 pounds and folded, it's about the size of a large suitcase. I don't think a tounge would be that hard to fabricate . . . you can use mine as a pattern if you wanted to get this one. He didn't say what he wanted for it, he is looking for offers.
Let me know if you are interested in either of these.
