6 volt stuff might be a little slow to move . . . something to do with the law of supply and demand . . . BUT . . . Just an FYI . . . 6 volt generators make great 12 volt motors.  A friend of mine made a winch for his car trailer and powered it with an old used 6 volt generator.  He has it geared down pretty low so it's slow of course, but it has lots of torque and believe it or not, it hasn't burned out after nearly 10 years.  It even survived me trying to pull a bus with locked up wheels up the ramps!  The cables got so hot they started smoking, but the generator wasn't hurt at all.

Yeah these will probably take a while to sell here.  I believe I'm the only one who runs 6 volts in the club.  I could be wrong but I'm the only one that I know of.  I got a generator just about a year ago that solved my charging problems.

Strap it down to something where it can't move but the shaft can turn free then

If they still have the fans on them you could screw a 6 volt generator stand down to the top of a wooden work bench and strap it in the stand.  Power it with a battery and jumper cables or a battery charger.
