« on: October 13, 2005, 10:01:57 AM »
Hey !! Does anybody have a set of p/c for 40 hp. I can not find a new set anywhere. I may have to re-ring a set of used ones (ugh),but I can't use the ones off of my engine do to one to many rain storms.
Does anyone have a supplier ?
Anthony, If you see this post would it be to much to ask where your F/V engine Guys get their stuff ?
There is more 25 & 36 hp stuff than 40hp stuff out there. Hard to belive that.  HELP !!! :?

Sorry I can't be much help. I've just sent them to the builder to work their magic secrets. I don't know where there getting them, but they sure aren't cheap! :?

When I first got into VWs (about 1994 or 95) it seems like the Mexican Beetles still had 40 horse engines standard with the 1600 as an option.  If so, I bet that 40 horse stuff is still pretty common in Mexico.  Maybe it was Brazil instead of Mexico . . .   :-k
