I am selling a 4.12 R/P swing axle transaxle that a customer decided he didn't want. Here is the breakdown. The transaxle was a 1972 IRS that was converted to a swing axle. It was totally disassembled and the case cleaned and media blasted. Replaced items were 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th gear synchronizers, late reverse gear, 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th gear operating sleeves, 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th steel shift forks, bushed gear carrier, outer main shaft bearing, inner main shaft bearing, 091 pinion bearing, nose cone bushing/seal, input shaft seal, welded clutch cross shaft, bronze impregnated cross shaft bushing, clutch shaft return spring, differential bearings, assorted gaskets and paint. The axle tubes are short and have been media blasted and painted, as well as, the backing plates and end caps. The axle tubes have one-piece boots with German clamps and new wheel bearings.
