Wanted: 1965-1979 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper For Sale?

« on: February 18, 2009, 09:29:56 PM »
Looking for a 1965-1979 Volkswagen Westfalia Camper for sale. If you know of anybody or have one for sale reasonably priced let me know. I'm interested in a possible project or one already in working order.

Thanks,

Sidney

This is my camper that I have been tossing around the notion of selling. I am in communication with someone already, but if things fall through there, I'll let you know.

$7600

Have you tried Craigs List?  I listed my Honda Civic on Sunday for Atlanta and someone from Ackworth came up Monday night and drove it home.  I posted it on Chattanooga also but all inquiries came from the Atlanta posting.  I had several folks wanting to come up to see it.  I was supposed to be able to get me a convertible when I sold it but with all this front porch wall collapsing I guess that will be in the future. :)

The wall that supported the front porch collapsed last Saturday night.  We had someone who was working with us to help save the wall but when they removed all the trash that had been thrown in the empty space between the basement wall and the porch wall it collapsed.  They have removed all of the old porch and what was left of the wall and rebuilt the wall today.  We have a huge mound of dirt and 6 loads of gravel in the front yard now.  This was all due to a builder who didn't put any gravel in the backfill and buried a french drain 12 feet under all the dirt piled against the wall.  10 years of settling caused the wall to buckle and collapse.  What a week!

We've got some wild pictures.  I'll bring them Monday night to the meeting.   We have met more of our neighbors over this.  I think a lot of them are concerned with what might be lurking in their basements that they can't see.

I hope that the great wall failure didn't open a portal to the underworld home   of "The Dreaded Great Flapping Thing."  There goes the "Hood"
