Though it pains me so, we will be departing with our beloved Molly. She is a 1971 Fastback, Savannah Beige, tan interior which is featured in many pictures on our web site. You can find them on the web site in the photo gallery under members section. It pains us to sell her but it hurts more to see her just sit around. The rust is starting to grow.
Recent work includes fuel hose replacement, clutch replacement, change of half of the fuel injector seals, replacement of master cylinder and rear wheel cylinders, right front rotor and disc caliper and all on schedule oil changes and tune ups were done. She has been involved in a minor accident - struck on the rear passenger fender causing the bumper to dent the driver side fender as well. We do have another rear bumper for her but have not put it on. She does have the usual minor rust with the worst being a few holes in the body. Still fuel injected. If someone from the club buys this car and changes it to a carbuerator system - we would like first dibs on the fuel injection system.
We paid $1900 for the car in 1997 and have put about $1400 into it since that time. We are offering it to our friends and a good home at $1200 and plan to place an ad on ebay in 2-3 weeks if it has not sold by then. Feel free to call with questions - 423-236-5192 or 718-0266 (ignore our crying when you call).
