Sold Please Delete!

« on: May 10, 2010, 01:27:59 PM »
OK,
I have this for trade (or sale $2K).
1970 Beetle.
Runs Good (Has a "B" unnumbered case.)
Older (1990's) Empi Trigger Lock Shifter (shifts tight)
Has a great set of Empi 8 spokes and Very Good 205 65 R15 street tires.
Pop -outs with good seals.
all guages work except speedo , (needle is off).
Runs, drives, stops.
Heater channels are good.
Windows roll up / down easily.
Good Battery.
Genny looks new.
Carbie is a 30/31 Brosol and looks new.
Engine is a single port and looks to be a 1500, (told that it was a low mileage crate VW engine- Lack of serial stampings in gen stand area seems to support this...)
Has t-bumpers.
Have clear title.

- needs back pan 1/2's (glassed now)
- Has only the driver's front seat (VW)
- Needs the rear bottom seat part.
- Dent in passenger's front fender next to light.
- bottom of spare tire area is dented and rusted.

You can get in this car and drive it.
It is black.
I cannot load photos from my camera today for some reason so they will be posted later.

I'll take off $500 for the tires and wheels if you bring your own.
Then you could have a running driving car for $1500.
I have a set of late model bucket seats and rails that would look good in this car for $100 more.

Worked on the '70:

Will be putting it together over the next week.
I'll still sell it for 2K as is now (with lights hooked back up, but if I paint it or go much further the $'s will go up or I'll just keep it, it runs and drives good, just needs the brakes adjusted, it pulls to the left when braking.
Thanks for looking,
