Looking for a Ghia - 1968-1974 Karmann Ghia Wanted

« on: May 03, 2003, 05:03:11 PM »
My wife and I have attended the last 3 Bug-A-Paluza's and have been bitten by the need to have a Ghia. We are looking for:

1968-1974 Coupe
In "OK" condition.
Project car, but not a "Miraculous Resurection".

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS  :)

:) Hello,

I have a 1973 Yellow Karmann-Ghia coupe in good drivable condition.  I bought it from the original owner.  It has approximately 74,000 miles on it, odometer quit @68K, original engine out once for a valve job, auto stick, many new parts, brakes, carb, fuel tank, generator, etc.
Good condition, minor rust in quarter panels and under grill in "nose", patched floor pan on driver side. Tinted windows. Original floor mats. AM/FM Sapphire radio from a 68, still have original AM radio, nice Coker wide wall tires. This would be an ideal car to restore or just drive as is. I hate to sell it but I need the money.  I live in Nashville Tennessee just off of interstate 440 and West End avenue.

$3500 or best offer Includes shop manual and owner's manual
