I think I know where one is.  It's an early bay window Westy . . . I think it's either a 69 or 70.  Last time I saw it (a couple of weeks ago), it was stripped to the shell, the rear suspension was cut out from under it and it's headed for the scrap yard . . . but it still had a front beam.  I'll check and make sure it's still there.

Mike needs a beam for a 71 and up bus, something different about the pwr brake buses, booster mounting, or something, i don't know exactly, but checked with a couple of my buddies who build beams, and they said he needs a later one.

Hummm . . . don't guess that one will work then, but I might have access to a later beam too.

OK, I've got a front beam off a '72 in my garage. I had already promised it to someone else, but after checking, it's still avalible.  It's just the beam and torsion bars.  Everything else has been removed.  Let me know if you want it.

I am new to this site and need a little help. I can not figure out to save my life how to start a new post. I have 63 Beetle for sale and like to advertise here in Chattanooga. Any help is more than welcome.

Go to the Calssified, VW Auto section, look to the right, second header section, "New Topic".  Fire away.   ;)

This one is rotted out pretty bad.  I don't know that there is enough left to safely weld to.
