Justin's Corrado

« on: August 29, 2011, 09:14:25 PM »
Does he still have it? Looks like he's abandoned his account (last seen 83 days ago). If anyone has heard from him, I know someone interested in his Corrado.

Justin owns a couple of mattress stores in Dalton now . . . said he was tired of working for "the man" . . . now he is "the man" and is finding out it's a full time job.  :o That's why he hasn't been on here lately.  He sold the Corrado a while back.  He also traded his old 74 Super for a 2001 TDI New Beetle that doesn't run.  It's just been sitting in his yard for the last couple of months . . . says he hasn't had time to even look at it (again, being "the man" is a full time job   ;D ).  He also got rid of his motorcycle.  He's down to a Golf, the TDI and a pile of rust that Rick is converting into a Westy.

Probably not.  By "converting into a Westy" I ment "converting BACK into a Westy."  It was a Westy to begin with, then over the years it turned into a pile of rust . . . Rick has been welding new, used and fabricated metal on it trying to make it a solid bus again.  I haven't talked to Rick or Justin either one about it in a while, but I think Rick was getting close to having the body finished the last time I heard him talk about it.

Oh ok... dang. I was hoping someone could use the roof clip. oh well.

Is he the one needing that panel I cut out for you? I have it cut down to the size you need now and I will be bringing it to the cruise in. Do you want me to grab the baja bumpers too?

He doesn't have to worry about getting fired . . . he just has to worry about making enough to pay the overhead, keep the inventory in stock, pay the help and have enough left to pay himself!  But he doesn't have to answer to "the man" anymore.   ;D

We took Joy to Red Lobster for her birthday yesterday. After that, we went over to take a look at Justin's store. He's actually got some VERY competitive prices and a broad selection of matresses. The store is easy to find . . . take the Rocky Face exit off I-75 and go towards Dalton. Go to the first light past Cleveland Hwy. and take a left onto Fleming St., and turn right into the strip mall facing the bypass.  He has another store and warehouse out Walnut Ave. somewhere, but this is his main store.

My life is crazy adventure.  I only have left my Golf that is running great and getting me to and from work which is a true blessing and also a Westy that has become like a distant memory.  I do own a Mattress Biz with Alex Davis and the info is below:

Mattress Expo
601 Flemming Street
Dalton, GA 30721
706-277-2337

2nd location
1117 East Walnut Ave
Dalton, GA 30721
706-529-5370

I carry Sealy, Tempurpedic, Therapedic, American Bedding and Sterling & Thomas.  Im confident that I have something to fit the needs and budget of everyone.  Feel free to stop bye when you are in the market for a new bed.  I am a firm believer in keeping it local and personal and whenever possible I buy from friends or Locally owned businesses.  That is the only way we can save our economy.
