Buy or trade: looking for project bus

« on: August 18, 2006, 10:13:37 AM »
I'm new to volksfolks. Looking for a bus for a project. I prefer a split window but realize they are more difficult to come by. All i want is something kind of driveable or if close to tri cities towable. Not a total basket case. I have a 90 G60 Corrado that i will talk trades about. Thanks.

I had what you were looking for up til that statement.

Good splits are still around, but they are getting expensive!  Every now and then will surface at a reasonable price, but you gott'a jump on it quick or it'll be gone!

I've got a couple stashed back waiting on the value to go up a little more so they will be worth restoring.  I'm also waiting on finding a winning lottery ticket on the ground somewhere so I can afford restore them.

Where is east ridge? You mean it's not a pop up top camper? Does it have regular metal roof? If so it's probably exactly what im looking for.

It's NOT a pop top camper it has a factory flat metal roof well it's a little rounded. It is this body stile.

East Ridge is just before you cross in to Ga on I-75.
