A friend of mine on facebook posted a picture of a 55 Beetle that the owner is on the fence about selling.  All I know about it is what you can see in the picture and the the guy has turned down $2000 (but it sounds like that is getting real close to convincing him to let go of it).  I don't know if it's a rag top or just has something laying on the roof . . . but it sure looks like a rag top.  He said he would be back over there in a couple of weeks and get more details and pictures if anyone is interested.  It's going to be too rich for my blood, but I'd love to see someone get it and put it back on the road.  I'll pass on more info when I get it.

The friend of mine who posted it on Facebook has been posting a lot of cars for Rat Rod projects for different junk yards he's been visiting . . . most of them seem to be within a two or three hour drive of Chattanooga, but I really have no idea where this one is at.  I'm trying to get more info.  Right now all I know is what you can see in the picture and the current owner is "on the fence" about selling it . . . and he has turned down two grand.  He said he would be back "there" (but didn't say where "there" was) in a couple of weeks and get me more pictures and info on it.  I'll keep prodding for more info and keep y'all updated.

Got more pictures, but supposedly the guy has a standing offer of $6500 on it and is still not sure if he wants to sell it.  Enjoy the pictures . . . I'll keep everyone up to date if I hear more.
