Actually, those CAN go together . . . just not when used in the same sentence with "finished."

Depending on what you want, you could build one. I know Berrien Buggy has a knockdown 2 seater kit for $399.99 and another company up in Kentucky has a similar one called the packrat for about the same. You'd need a rear torsion and a front beam, not to mention all the running gear, steering, etc... But its a cheap initial price!

For all the other stuff, I'd shop around. I got a rear torsion housing for free a while back just cause someone wanted it gone. I know spook had a whole Gaia cut up in his dumpster yesterday with the torsion, trailing arms and front disc beam. Something like that would be ideal if you were building one!

Thanks for info, I didn't realize a new kit would be that reasonable.
This is gonna be one of the father son driveway projects that will not be any rush at getting it done. Just as long as WE are tinkering with it

I have a line on a fiberglass buggy that I can let go cheaply if I do nothing to it.
It'll be at my house tomorrow night.
It is a Manx clone with swing axles and a 40 HP engine.
It is complete, but is a project in that it has been stored for the last 8 years and needs attention.
Let me know if you are interested and you can come over and see it.
I live about 2 miles from where your GF works.
