What the ad doesn't tell you is that the pop-top and roof rack are missing in action.  If you can find a top somewhere cheap to go with it, it looks like there is $500 worth of bus there!  And I do believe that this bus could be converted to type 1 power (as long as you don't mind slow acceleration) . . .  but, it'll never be another Homer.  Hopefully they broke the mold after they made Homer.  Sometimes I think they broke the mold BEFORE they made him!   :lol:  :lol:  :lol:

This is an immaculate 1977 Westfalia edition VW Bus. It has a very rare full length High Top. Not the pop up kind. less than 1% body rust. New front end. Very clean original interior. This bus has seen it all and been all around the country. Looking for the right person to keep that tradition going. Type 4 motor. Already pulled out and ready for rebuilding or Porsche 911 engine swap. Minor body repairs and a touch of paint and she's good as new! Top alone is worth $1,000.00 dollars!

OMG, thanks for posting that, I always seem to miss the pics, the cl' ads get deleted before i get a chance to see em! Also that bus has a nose, and I will say RUSS, that will NEVER be a homer! EVER lol, there is only one super bus, and that my friend is not!  It is a cutie though....
