It's a Champagne Edition too, or at least it started out life that way.

He's keeping the tranny?,  I don't know much about vans,  But the trans seems like a the most valuable part

Oh , Its pretty important I would say, specially if you are considering driving it    It does make things easier
Offer a little more and see if he would leave the tranny  in.

Other than the missing tranny, it looks like a good deal.  It needs paint, but the body looks pretty straight and solid.  I've got a 73 bus tranny that needs some work (was jumping out of 4th).  I've got the money in the bank.   :-k   It's tempting, but I guess I better pay the morgage and buy some groceries and let someone else take on this project.   :(

Just looked at it, Not that bad.  Has been hit around the upper turn signal on the passenger's side.  Tires are shot, engine looks complete, says that he will show that it runs via ether....
It was a champaign edition, but someone has removed the dash and put a black one in it (see accident above...)  The steering column is still brown.  Body is WAY better than homer's.  He did ask me what I thought it was worth (after I told him I was not interested) and I told him that he was over priced.  He will work to a point on the $'s.  Like I said, it is a pretty solid looking bus and it has all the seats for the inside... (In RED...)
Take care and call the fellow, he seems nice.

This is in direct response to my converstion to him,
Call me Zen and I'll tell you all about it, you would be time ahead putting all of homer's stuff in this shell.
I'll tell you what is his bottom dollar if you'll sell me that clock when you buy it. (I'll buy that for a dollar...)

Well, Homer does have a good gas tank and transmission . . . and the doors are good.  I can't see much else on Homer worth removing and bolting on another bus.  Homer pretty much is what he is and won't ever be much more . . . and he can't really be MUCH less either!    But, he's like a cross between a Timex and the Energizer Bunny.  He takes a lick'n and keeps going  :bounce: and going  :bounce: and going  :bounce: . . . and going! :bounce:

If I buy it I'll be living in it!  I just need to find a river to park beside and I'll be set.
