State Farm says get rid of the "junk" cars or their dropping our homeowner's, so . . .
I have a 73 standard Beetle that will go to the first taker. It's pretty much picked clean, but it's a fairly solid body shell. Has some bondo in the left side behind the door and the driver's door is FULL of bondo, but, with a new door and just a little body work this would make a nice body.
It's sitting on a rolling (after I air up the tires) '67 chassis, but the frame head and center tunnel were cut open with a torch so the chassis is useless (other than for holding this body) and I need the front beam and tranny back out of it (but I can wait a while for them back). Come get it and it's yours! I'll loan you a tow bar to pull it with . . . and as soon as I can get my truck or my bus back on the road, buy my gas and I'll deliver it.
I also have a 68 Chassis that will go for free to whoever shows up first with something to haul it on. No front beam and a bad tranny, but hey, it's free!
I'll also have a 73 bug for sale soon. It needs some dent repair to the right side, but seems to be in decent shape otherwise. It looks like I'll probably be asking for somewhere in the $1250 -- $1500 range. The final asking price really depends on how much more I have to spend to get it ready.
