67 Beetle Project - $900

« on: January 25, 2014, 04:28:36 AM »
A friend of my brother has a 1967 Bug project for sale.  Asking price is $900.  He had started dis-assembling it for restoration.  Currently, the body is sitting on the chassis, but it's unbolted.  No title, no engine.  It has a few minor dents and dings and a little surface rust, but it looks like a good solid base for a resto.  If you are interested, I'll send you his contact info.  He lives in Greenbrier, TN.

I don't have a '67 Beetle project . . .

I do have a '68 Beetle project, a '70 Baja Beetle Project, a '75 Super Beetle Convertible project, a 79 Dasher project and a 96 Passat project.  Then there's the dozen or so antique sewing machines I'm going to "fix up and sell" someday.  And a Snappin Turtle lawn mower.  And a 1930's Maytag wringer washer.  And my dad's 1970 C-10 pickup.  And a homemade rail buggy.  And a '69 Harley Davidson Golf Cart.

And someday I need to finish remodeling the bathroom at our cabin, and fix the roof of my house.  Someday soon I am going to have to pull the engine from my S-10 and either replace or rebuild it . . . or at least plug up all the oil leaks.

And there is Homer.  Poor old Homer.  Just sittin' there waitin' on me to flush his tank and clean his carb . . . and clean him out.

Heck, what's one more project?  Now where did lay that $900?  Oh, yeah, I've already spent it on other junk (see partial list above).  Dang'it.
