So you don't see too many two-tone paint jobs on Westies, they're usually solid colors. Could this one be a Champagne Edition Westfalia? The photo isn't clear enough to tell if those bumpers are chrome or not.

Maybe the bumpers are Mexican chrome. The main thing I would be worried about would be the automatic tranny. They are great when they are working.  $$$$$ if it doesn't .  Engine blown up ??
      Get some history if possible Children. Looks like it might have a chance if it not too rusty.

Well he emailed me back today but curiously he didn't answer the question, he just quoted what I said and sent it back to me. I replied again and asked for details, maybe he had a moment of technical ineptitude or something.

I'm just really curious if it's a CE, if it is it sounds like a deal for $2k but then again you don't know how "apart" his brother has it. Also no mention of an engine or its status. Maybe I can talk him out of the clock for the dash if he would sell it to me.
