The guy was going to use the pink one as a donor for body panels but the body guy said the 73 would be a better candidate for a restore

He wants to put the old style bumpers on it,  are there special brackets you buy?,  do you cut the tubes out?

Tubes will have to go bye bye.
I cut them out of the green ghia that I sold rick with a saws all, then cleaned up with grinder...
Get with your guy and see if he wants either or both sets of my early bumpers.
I would like to get rid of them.
I have a small coolant leak on the 1.8T Schwaggen, I almost drove the ghia today...
But decided to risk the drive to work, looks like one of the hoses from the coolant rail along the top has swollen and is leaking around the clamp... 140K I guess it is time.
