1971 Karmann Ghia For Sale

« on: April 25, 2002, 05:03:26 PM »
I'm posting this for a nice lady up in Chattanooga, TN.  My Dad (VWHerb) actually went to check the car out, you can ask him directly for praises of this car.  For our area of the country it's a STEAL!  Here's the rundown:

-1971 Karmann Ghia Convertible
-2nd Owner (20+ years)
-Freshly Rebuilt Engine, 500 miles (111k total miles)
-Original Interior & Top (Glass Rear Window)
-Repainted at some point from Original Blue to Garnet Red (owner didn't like color, never in any accidents)
-Has a Tonneu Cover (check out the pic below) AND Top boot, both in excellent condition
-Brand new Michellin Tires
-NO RUST ANYWHERE
-Garaged it's entire life

-Asking $7k - Barbara Rosenblatt - (423) 629-9309 (For anyone doubting the price, I've seen cars in this shape go very quickly and easily for about $2k more over here in the East)

I would love nothing more than to buy this one for myself (it was offered to me first ;) ) but cannot due to finances, someone give this one a GOOD HOME that is Barbara's only requirement!

well, my parents (betty and kyle) test drove it today and they loved it.  i don't think we'd get it, we just bought something else not too long ago, but i am starting to think my parents have caught the vw bug (or virus rather) bad and are lible to do anything without warning... :nervous:
