1970 VW Bug 4 sale

« on: August 07, 2005, 02:59:54 PM »
Since moving to Cincinnati last month, debated & debated on selling the bug, but finally decided I need to.
"Volksie" has has been completely restored. she was sandblasted, primered, sealed, clear coat paint job, orginal color(youkon Gold). New floor pans, new tires, shocks, brakes, brake lines, new seals all the way around windows, doors, etc. new bumpers, turn signals, carpet, gastank, engine has 105,000 miles was re-built at 100,000, has no modifications made to it. It has a set of orignal Riveria wheels on the tires. Seats will need re-covered at some point, but are 99.9% in good shape. Has stereo, amp, speakers. runs great, everything works great. Would like to ask around $4,000. I am the second owner, and still have some orginal paper work and receipts where we bought parts for it.
It is still in Rome until we sell the house. Here is a link to a couple pics I have it on the web..

Thanks

   I hope Volksie finds a good home somewhere here in the South.  I hear the salt up north is rough on them.  Come back down and visit us from time to time, Ron!  If nothing else, drop the forums every now and then and say hi.   8)

Ron, I really hate to hear that you are having to sell your car. You and your wife put a lot of time, sweat and, I'm sure, some blood putting that car together. Maybe something will work out for you between now and the time someone comes along to give her a new home. :(

Thanks,
As anything, would love to see a enthusist buy her. Nothing worries you more than thinking that the person who is buying it, might have other ideas.
