1970 vw beetle convertible.

1970 beetle convertible new paint, new top, new carpet, new seals great car fun to drive must see.  Spent its whole life in this area.  Was purchased from the old vw dealership in hixson.

That car looks real familar. I use to service one just like it down to the EMPI wheels. It lived in Brainerd. Do you have a history on previous owners ?  I can't remember the original owners name. If ths is the same Bug, he took very good care of it and had a easy life. I think the car was bought new at Don Woods VW.

I bought it from Matt Arbuckle, I believe he was the second owner,  The car was purchased new from Don Woods and I probably could look up the original owners name.  I has had an easy life.  The odometer reads 53k and I believe it to be true but have no way of knowing. I am sure it probably is the same car.

Is Arbuckle the same guy who sold cars at the old John Hicks Porsche/Audi dealership ?

Arbuckle is a younger guy, but he was not the original owner.  The owners manual is in a Don Wood Volkswagen folder.  I don't know if he is any relation to the VW/audi guy.
