1967 Splitty Bus SOLD

« on: October 06, 2009, 11:06:33 AM »
I'm selling my 1967 Standard 11 window bus.  It is a very solid bus.  The major rust area is the battery tray which I have already purchased the replacement sheet metal.  Otherwise, very minimal rust.  It stayed in a garage for many years.  I replaced the entire brake system 3 years ago.  It has a rebuilt transaxle with about 4k miles on it.  I have the original transaxle to go with it.  It has its matching stock engine that has had the top end rebuilt recently.  New tires (Continental Vanco 8's), New Bilstein Shocks.  New side window pop out frames.  Pop out frames, wheels, and bumpers have been powder coated.  I have all its paperwork from day one including the original window sticker.  It was originally purchased in Midfield, AL just outside of Birmingham.  I am the fourth owner.  This is a very complete bus.  Nothing is missing.  Drives and runs great.  Interior is in good condition to be its original interior.  Seats are splitting at the seams.  Needs little work to make it a show car or drive it like it is.

Serious inquires only please.  $8000
