A guy called me out of the blue today. He wants to sell his 1952 Split window crotch cooler Bug. If you don't know what Crotch Cooler is, in '52 the only year they made a vent that popped out down by the legs. Thus Cooling the crotch. Not only a split window but the split dash also, this was a project for an older gentleman and now his health is deteriorating and needs to sell it. It is frame off right now. The frame is original and has been reconditioned and painted in Emeron paint. The car has been restored , it has No bondo in it. It has been painted in it's original color of blue. All parts for the car are there , only missing a few pieces of trim. He paid $6000 for the paint job. All parts are in close to new condition and any replacement part are NOS. #s matching engine 25 hp with turbo style air cleaner. This is the Deluxe style Bug. All glass is there and has new rubbers for everything. It has the original 16" wheels that have been reconditioned and painted to match the car. no tires though. The Dub is located near Lake Geneva, Wisconson. Which is just across the border from Illinois.
