So I take it you aren't going to want the '74 type 4 motor I have...?

It is ugly, but it turns. It was in my bus when I got it but I didn't want to go through the type 4 things so I put a type 1 in. It turned and fired,  but I think the dual solex's needed re-working and all the hoses needed to be replaced. I put a weber on it, just to try to get it to work since the carbs were acting funky...I ended up getting tired and putting a 1600 in it. It needs the tins pulled and cleaned up, but if I recall the compression was around 120-130ish. I guess we could bolt it up to a trans and re-check.

I was asking around $200ish. Everyone on thesamba says that a core motor would be worth it if it was under $500. I'd like to keep the weber, but if you'd rather have that or already have your intake/carb or FI, we can deal.

I'm ready to get it gone.

Dang,
I just need to finish the Passat so I can see what I have left.
IF you haven't sold it, I might just buy it back....
