I swear ! True story. If I hadn't seen it  happen I wouldn't have belive it.
The front bumper did'nt have a dent in it. You have to remember the bug was in a nose dive and the Caddy was leaning hard to the right while trying to turn left at speed and bounced up in the air due to the ditch- like entrance .
Bumper went under the door sill, took the headlights out. As the Caddy started to turnover ,the sill climbed on top of the fenders and hood .  Mashed the fenders down to the tires, hood went down to the top of the fuel tank and the spare tire went out the bottom. I think the spare tire saved him from worst damage. The Bug bounced back up after the Caddy got off. I help pull the fenders off the front of the tires. Didn't bend anything on the front suspenion that I could see. I wouldn't have remembered any of this in detail if the whole thing wasn't  so bazaar.

hey sorry i didnt come by... had no idea where you are located and couldnt get volks folks to come up yesterday... kept getting an internal  server error (but all other sites seemed to work fine)... perhaps some time this week...

I did meet some guy named greg that was driving a nice 65 beetle... we talked for a good 30-60 min about vw's... he said he had several and always had them in the family but didnt ever do any club type stuff... said he'd probably take his 58 to the show this weekend... then some redneck pulled up and argued about my car being a 98 and said he would take his brothers broken 73 supers up to the show and sell them for $2500  he doesn't know what is wrong with them...

what a cold and dreary day  :?

There was an error while liking
