Wild Rumor or even Wilder Truth?

I normally don't spread rumors, but I'm gonn'a make an exception for this.

I've heard a wild rumor that someone we know might be thinking 'bout taking a nearly 50 year old Beetle over towards the left coast to run in a famous 3 day endurance road race.

I don't think a Beetle has won it since 1969 when one took 1st AND 3rd place, but it would still be fun to watch! Hope it's not just a rumor . . . and to quote Forrest Gump, "That's all I got to say about that."

I told Joy I wanted to go watch the race IF there is any truth to this rumor. I figured she would tell me how crazy it would be to use what little vacation time I have left for this year and spend all that money getting out there and staying there, and only getting to actually see bits and pieces of the race. She sent me a text today from work wanting to know which week in October. She thinks she can go with me.

I hope there is some truth to this rumor!!!

It will be a blast!!!
