Rain or shine, man. No problem!
There's a car wash just past the entrance to Camp Jordan on the left, if you need one. Have a safe trip!

I just made a trip home to get some of the stuff I forgot to take to the show grounds this morning and watched the weather on the local stations.  There are two more possible bands of rain coming through, but no later than 8:00am Saturday, all of the rain will out of the area and the weekend is supposed to be sunny and warm.   8)  . . . but like Anthony said, it's rain or shine.  The show WILL go on!   :!:

Yes indeed its good stuff. We won't get upset over you swiping a little of our good top soil. No extra charge, besides don't you need a little for your garden?

I made an observation this weekend.  Yes it was muddy, and yes lots of vehicles had to be pulled from the mud.  But they weren't VW's!!!!!

My Volvo wagon went through the stuff just fine. Didn't spin a wheel. I notice that it was the big 4 wheel drive Chevy with dual rear tires and trailer as big as Rhode Island with a 4-wheel drive front loader tied on the front of the truck had the big problem. A total of 10 tires slinging mud.
My poor old Volvo looked like it went Mud Boggen . Linda drove it to work today looking that way

BugTech,I had so many things to do include cleaning car but it rained three day's in a row. What's so stupid is I did get the trailer washed off lol. Then wed was going to try to get car cleaned up then it just never stopped raining.I had also and still do have bronchitis.I was so weak from coughing my head off.The Dr won't call me in any cough medicine because they want to do a chest xray to see if I might have pnemonia. So I have to do that tomorrow.I sure am mad at myself for not making it because it was my favorite show.Hey see if you can get them to have 2 a year lol.Bet Herb would love that lol. What is the next show you might go to?Bug Tech do they have any smaller shows in the area up there or is it better just to go to the sevwc site?

Volkswagon nut that sounds like me lol. That's why I opted to buy the inclosed trailer for afterwards when I got car cleaned up.Guess I kind of went overboard.Kind of overkill for a dunebuggy lol.Well you only go around once.I just have a 6x12 landscape trailer for closeby shows and no rain because I use it around the house anyway. But what a b---- having to clean one of these dunebuggies up again after having to clean it up a few hours before if it's going to a show.Because I have a cd player in it if you don't cover the speakers and player up well when you wash it then you can put one out very quick like I did a year ago when I got in a hurry lol.Takes more time to cover certain things up than actually washing it.

:x Would you believe while we were breaking down the shower bus there were some kids playing socer in the field out in front of the camping area . . . and the ball was kicking up dust when it hit the ground!   :x

I trashed canned a pair of shoes and a half dozen pairs of socks over the weekend.  My feet may never recover!    Yes, that was NASTY stuff!  I only wish we had known the pavement was going to be an option so we could have set up there to begin with and kept everyone out of the mud.   :?

Thanks to everyone who came and put up with the mud and muck and help us pull the show out of the mud!  We (I'm speaking on behalf of the club) couldn't do this show without all y'all folks who, regardless of the weather conditions, come out and enjoy the show!
