Volks Folks Sonic Cruise-In for July

The July Volks Folks Sonic Cruise-In will be held on Friday evening, July 7th at the Sonic on East Brainard Road. Our cruise-ins are informal events. We start showing up around 7:00 and stay until ??? Everyone is invited to come hang out with us or just stop by and say hello!

Keep in mind that this year our cruise-ins will be held on the FIRST FRIDAY of each month and will move around to a different area Sonic each time. Here's the schedule for the rest of the year (Thanks to Brian for putting this together for us!) :

JULY 7TH SONIC 7420 EAST BRAINERD RD.
CHATTANOOGA, TN 37421

AUG. 4TH SONIC 4407 HWY 58
CHATTANOOGA, TN 37416

SEPT. 1ST SONIC 6915 SHALLOWFORD RD.
CHATTANOOGA, TN 37421

Begining in October we will move indoors for the winter months.  That schedule will be announced at a later date.

The schedule says Shallowford Road.  So which one is it?

What a fun evening!  I arrived at the East Brainerd Sonic around 7:35.  I was eagerly awaiting the chance to visit with other VolksFolks.  Much to my surprise, the parking lot was void of any VWs.  I thought that maybe some had actually gone to the Shallowford one.  I drove over there and same thing...no VWs.  I made several calls, but either got no answer or those who did answer weren't at the cruise-in or couldn't give me any more information.  
So, I took the kids and the dog back over to the East Brainerd Sonic and had our own little cruise-in.
If someone was there before me, ya should have waited.  Remember, good things come to those who wait.
