Wow!  This is something that I never thought I would see considering what has happened in the past.   I love it and will be there.
I hope Nelson Bowers shows up. He is one of the nicest guys you have ever met.   If memory serves me right, Nelson drove a Beetle when he was in school.  A red '62 maybe ???

I called,
Pam is a nice lady.  Any way, She said that there would be a band and beer and that you may come and go as you please.  They are expecting around 200-300 persons.
Sounds like fun.  Wife and i will try to come.  Doesn't sound like a car show or a crise in though.
See you all there!
Road Kill, Can you come?  Might be a chance to get those visors?
Thanks,
KC

Its from 5pm till 8pm. Ribbon cutting at 5:45. We need as many people
to be there as we can get!!! Smitty wants to line us up on the street so everyone has to go past the classics before pulling in the new dealership.

Planning on comming, Bringing my dad whoused to drive a 1951 VW with a porche trannie back in the day.  (1967-1969 Army in Frankfort, Germany...)  He drove that car with an old ladder back chair screwed to the floor as the ONLY interior....
The DMV would have a COW now!!!
See you there,

I don't think I'll be at the grand opening tonight, we're leaving out for Nashville for the weekend.  However, my spirit will be.  Anybody in the club who comes by, swing by the service department.  I've left the longblock of the cut away engine for our next Bug-a-Paluza out as a little teaser.  still have to clean up the rockers and start sandblasting / cutting the sheet metal, but you'll get the general idea.  It's hanging out on my workstation desk in the shop.
If I don't make it, everybody have fun.  If I do make it, try to have fun even though I'm there.   8)
