The Scenic City Volks Folks will once again be handling registration, parking and judging for the anual Stocking Full of Love Labor Day (Monday, September 4th) Car Show at the Walker County Civic Center in Rock Spring, GA.

We will need all the help we can get.  We understand this a holiday weekend and lots of folks have other plans and obligations...but again, we need all the help we can get.  Please contact us if you can help out!

The money that the club earns from running the show is used to fund our annual club campout and picnic.  This year it will be at Fort Mountain State Park near Chatsworth, GA. contact us for details.

I plan on making it again this year. This time I want to show the car. I will try and get Josh to show his 03 Mustang GT if he had the twin turbos on by then. They did have a class for newer cars if I remember correctly??

Thanks Zen. I ran this by Josh yesterday and he is interested in showing the Mustang and I will show the 67. Actually think we can get Denise to come to this event!! Think we can set them up side by side so they can watch both cars while I help out at the show?? He hopes that he has the twin turbos on by then. The folks making the tubing mailed out one of the pieces to someone in New Jersey by mistake and the clown was refusing to send it back. So they are having to make the piece again. Got all the other components ready to install, but need this one piece. I have already begged to drive it at least one time to see what the power is like when both turbos kick in.   :twisted:  :twisted:  :twisted:

I, personally, want to encourage ALL members to come out to the Walker County Civic Center on Labor Day and help YOUR club with this endeavor. We have done this the past two years and it's a great source of income for the club, especially during the club camp-out later that month. We need to be there by 7:30am and we're usually gone by 4:30pm. Come on out and join in with your fellow club members.

It would be nice to have someone display a Vee that had just take 1st place at Nashville!  Think that can be arranged?  

I mentioned this show to the folks at North Alabama Volkswagen Club on their group site. Maybe some of them will be able to attend.

We'll probably have plenty of radios, but it wouldn't hurt to bring a few more.
