I'm hoping another blast of artic air will make it's way through again this year. Last year it was warm in the afternoon, but not hot. There was a little chill in the air at night and in the early mornings . . . perfect camping weather . . . no need for AC. Their was plenty of power to go around.
The year before that it finally "cooled off" into the high 80's in the shade sometime after midnight. The humidity had to be over 80%! There were 200 drop cords plugged into one outlet. I had a fan plugged in and it would almost stop every time someone's AC kicked on. Then a guy in a rail buggy came across the field running with an oversized mud tire on the rear on one side and a brake drum on the other . . . that brake drum must have been turning 10,000 RPMs! I though for sure he would cut every one of the drop cords, but he didn't . . . it just shoved 'em down in the ground. If it's that hot again, I'd recommend having something with AC to cool off in from time to time, but you'll probably have to bring a generator big enough to power it. The electrical service can there can handle about anything anyone wants to plug in . . . up until the point that EVERYONE wants to plug in an air conditioner.
