If I get Homer's lights straightened out, I'm planning on going to the cruise in at Sonic Friday evening and heading out to Stevenson from there about 8:00 or so.  If I don't get the lights straightened out, I'll have to skip the cruise-in or risk gettting caught by dark in the middle of Jackson County, AL with no lights.  That couldn't turn out too good . . .

Kyle stopped by last night and helped me sort out the light problems on Homer . . . turns out my brand new GERMAN headlight switch had a dead terminal.  :x  But I was able to pull a little shread of copper out of the old switch and it quick shooting sparks and works fine now.  I now have headlights and taillights at the same time!  Woooo Hooooo!!     I've got both brake lights and turn signals on all four corners as well!   8)

I'll see y'all at the Sonic around 7:00 Friday evening and I'm head'n to Stevenson about 8:00.

Don't think I'll be making it to the Sand Rail and Lawnmower Red Fest this year. My daughter has a softball tournament Thursday - Saturday. But...depending on her team's success rate, we might not have games on Saturday. Who knows?
If I wish for her team to lose, does that make me a bad daddy?

I don't know Travis, I never had that problem.  Amanda and Jessica played on the same team for two years.  They won two games.  I was never in a position where I had to "wish" for them to loose!    Not only did we get to make early exits from tournaments, it finally got to where the coaches wouldn't even let them enter.  But they had fun anyway . . . most of the time.    :)

Did anyone make it down to the show?  We spent the weekend cleaning up from the construction at the house.  :(

I made it over there late Friday night.  There were several of us there for the entire weekend, and several more that showed up for the day Saturday or Sunday.  It was by far the biggest Stevenson Bug Blast yet.  It was a lttle warm Saturday afternoon and it almost got hot Sunday afternoon, but by Stevenson standards, it was a cool weekend.  In fact, it was kind'a chilly both Friday and Saturday night.

I've got a few pictures I'll post in the gallery as soon as possible.

There must have only been 5 campers that registered their campsites 'cause Homer the Superbus won a top 5 campsite award . . . maybe they just felt sorry for him 'cause of the load I made him pull over there!
