Hopefully it won't be quite as hot this year as it was last year, but hot or not, I'm in!  Some shows you go to just for the show, some just for the swap meet, but if you want to go to show just to have a good time, this one is it!

Is this a good show?  I am mostly interested in swap meet stuff but like seeing the cars as well.  If everyone thinks it's a good show, I will go.

Basically, a fun laid-back weekend.  Swap meet stuff kinda small.  lots of rails and dune buggies. lawn-mower racing.... had a good time 2 yrs ago, wasn't able to go last year.

There usually isn't too much in the swap meet and there aren't a huge number of show cars . . . but it is WELL worth the trip.  It's close too -- just take I-24 west to Kimble / South Pittsburg and take US 72 West about 25 miles to Stevenson.  I'm gonn'a try to make down Friday evening . . . but I'll be there Saturday morning for sure.

You can not declare yourself a southerner until you have seen 300 people with there hats off and hearts clinched as the star spangle banner plays as ole glory and the stars and bars parade by at lightening speed on lawn mowers.

It really a sight to behold.
Its a laid back fun show and as long as you dont drive a pan scraper the parade is fun as well.
