Stevenson,AL - when?

I was wondering the same thing.  I was posting some shows last night and couldn't find anything on the Stevenson show.  I don't think it's going to be an actual "show" this year.  I've heard that there won't be any judging or trophies, but then, it's free.  If nothing else, the price is right.   ???

The "show" is on June 11-13, 2004 at the Stevenson City Park (where it has been for the last 2 years).
Beautiful show and shine area...For Sale Lot...Camping...Lawnmower Racing...Saturday Evening Parade...contact Ted Jones @ (423) 718-7911.

I'll probably be hanging around the campsite the entire weekend...or the vendors' area.

Why yes, we went to the Stevenson Bug Bust...errr...I mean Bug Blast.
I could count the show cars on both of my hands...the vendors on one hand...and campers with all my fingers and toes.  The only things we couldn't count (because we lost count!) were the mosquitos.
It was hot and miserable.  The people who put the show on were very friendly though and worked hard on their PR.  They came by every hour or so to see how we were.
The only comfort we had from the heat was the pool...and even then, the sun was so hot, that even the pool water was warm.
Needless to say, we packed up and came home on Saturday, only after going to Scottsboro and shopping at the Unclaimed Baggage and the Unclaimed Cargo stores.
Had we paid $$ and the drive had been much further than what it was...
At least we got to camp.  :)

Those who went: The Barefoots, The Moose family, and The Big Johnsons.
