It's exactly why you should never sell any of it! I have only sold a handful of cars. Still have my first car and don't plan on selling it for a long time.

I don't regret selling my first car a cal custom beetle, it was a good experience but now I like a different style, manage to hold on to the thing since high school though, got it in 93 and its not going anywhere. Wish I had my parents 69 Chevelle, miss my 62 beetle some, sold a second thing I had, wish I hadn't

I wish I had kept the following:
1947.5 Chevrolet 3100 (Thriftmaster)
1965 Mustang w/ 20K original Miles
1972 Autostick Beetle
1963 Ragtop Beetle
1971 RHD 1302 w/ 1300DP

Now I have owned ~40 Classic (older than 1977) cars since I was 16.
So to only miss 5 of them is a feat in itself.

But they have led me to a Ghia Vert that I probably would not have owned if I had all those...
Also note that there are no buses on this list... (I have owned like 7 of them).

63 ragtop, huh ? Sweet....
I had...many years ago...a 62 ragtop. Rusty old thing that I finally stripped most parts off of to build a dune buggy. I miss the old yellow clunker, BUT most of all I wish I had kept the ragtop clip!!!
I've looked for one to graft onto my 63 hardtop and man, those things are expensive!!!
