Made our reservations in Helen 2 weeks ago.  Must be a pretty big turn-out since it was almost impossible to get a room at any price.

Helen is a very pretty town and we cant wait to go back.

I have heard no, couple poeple said it is all water cooled and the few aircooleds that show up would be like tuners showing up at a vintage air cooled show, but that prob would not stop me,  I will prob be driving the cabrio down there with the wife.

It's a free, open car show, drive whatever you want. There aren't any classes, the only trophies they give away are for peoples' choice. The majority there will be late model VW/Audi but that doesn't mean air-cooleds aren't welcome. I drove the bus there two years ago.

Just got back home a few hours ago and we had a great time. Show was even bigger than last year, a five acre field was made available for more cars this year. I also saw lots of air-cooleds, usually there's one or two but there was at least 20 this time. Looks like the whole Boltsdragen club that always comes to Bug-a-Paluza was there.
