I spoke with Mike Andrews at Channel 3 and we are setup to drive through the pavilion at about 5:55pm just after the Harleys.  We will meet at the parking lot of Coker Tire on Chestnut Steet by 5:50pm.  See you there!

I'll be in Atlanta all day, so I won't be able to make it.

We had 6 VWs and had to wait about 20 minutes so that we could be on the news about 6:15.  Thanks to everyone that could make it.

My father in law saw it on the news they showed the first 3 vw's, i checked the channel 3 website this morning and saw a video of the harleys but no vw's,  i got one bad picture at cooker tire i will try to post.  This was the first time that my wife rode in the beetle, i hope that she will want to come to more events.

This was the Volks Folks 11th cruise through the food drive!  It wasn't our biggest showing ever, but then, it wasn't our smallest either.  It's always tough to get a big group together on Wednesday evening before 6:00.

Usually they cut away from the food drive at 6:00.  When they held us up, I didn't think we were going to get on the news at all, but I was hoping they would hold us up just a little longer . . . I was about to finish off that bag of kettle corn they gave me and go ask for another one!  I love that stuff!   8)
