And you will never be finished or satisfied.  Been there Done that.
Here is your biggest problem. If you do excellent work it will not be long before you Guys will be totaly "covered up" and you won't have time to do "Diddley Squat" much less eat lunch.
A tad of advice:  Train your customers before they train you.
Then everybody will be happy

I agree with that 100%!!

I already have trouble eating lunch...haven't left work to eat in about 5 years...as soon as you leave all the good  customers show up! I hope we get covered up and don't have any time..the alternative is way BAD!

I have always thought this was true, but my previous employer and many other places I have seen do not believe in that.  I have had a number of people tell me all I'm gonna get is a bunch of oil changes because of the last place that was there.  They did a ton of oil changes and very little else, but I believe that was because Precision Tune promotes themselves as a fast lube and they did nothing to change that perception at that location.  It's really not that tough of a concept to wrap your head around, but it is impossible for some!

My friend Sam came by Saturday with his Herbie and got the oil changed, and also became my first official VW customer!  Here is a picture of his car in the shop making mine look bad!  Looking forward to this coming Saturday and meeting a bunch of VW folks!

Hey !!!  Looking Good !       You lucky dog ,you have one of those big "Blue and Yellow Things "  that goes up and down
Can you mount tires ?  I'm going to replace all the tires on the Buggy. As long as I have to pay for it, I just as soon "spread the love" and let you do it if you can and would want too.
Linda and I will be driving the Allison up Sat. if the weather holds(no top).
I'm trying to figure out where you are.  Landmark ?

We can mount and balance tires and would love to do it.  Our landmarks would be across the road from Walgreen's, next to Blockbuster Video, share entrance with Las Margaritas Restaurant.  It's 1/10th of a mile off of Highway 153 on Highway 58. Look forward to seeing you!

I dont think you'll be able to get mine on the lift. Would that be a major problem for new tires? If so I could take em off here and run them to ya in the truck. Just thought I'd ask. Might not make the grand opening it's my sons b-day. But eventually I will have to get some tires and some more tires....etc. if you decide to get 135's be sure to post it up or let me know if you can order them. I'd rather spend a lil more local than keep giving it to online stores.

Hey Bugnut, I have been working with extremely lowered vehicles since I was 16, we can get it in the air!!  Even if we have to use a couple of plywood shims under the tires just to get it on a jack just to get it on a rack!  You can just bring the wheels if you want, but I like a challenge when it's something cool! 8)  :D   When I was 17 I had a 68 Firebird that would smash the "turtles"(reflectors) to bits when I changed lanes on the highways around Seattle...ever since then it's been low or the complete opposite.."sky high"!  I don't mind mounting other peoples tires either, if you got em bring em with ya! My tire sources are limited at this time so if you can get what you want I won't add any charges to mount carry in's.  I'm gonna try to get some 135's, but it won't be in time for the opening...Ill keep you all posted.
Look forward to seeing you Bugtech! We'll get your tire needs handled!
Thanks. Rick.

Its a thought.   I'll ask him about the front end problems and if he wants to take it on.
I'm about to install your engine.  Tranny mounts , sound "stuff", comp.seal are installed.  I'm holding my breath on the carb, I did managed to free up all the adjustment screws. Its a shame that the carb got in that shape considering that it was brand new.

No, I told you that I would try to save this one if I could.  I may have but I won't really know until I get her fired up.  New carbs are not cheap.
Its not time to panic yet
