The show in Virginia is the day before, but since I don't have a vehicle I would trust on that trip right now, I won't be going there. I might, however, have to go to Jacksonville, FL to pick up my mother-in-law . . . that plan has changed about ten times in the last two weeks, so I don't know if I'll have to go or not. If I don't go to Jacksonville, I'll be at the show. It's only about 8 miles from my house, and just about every year that they've had it I've passed by . . . but I've never attended. Just from what I could see in passing by, it has always looked like a great show!

The show is at the Walker County Civic Center. To get there; take US-27 South from Chattanooga/Rossville/Ft. Oglethorpe. If you haven't been down US-27 past Ft. Oglethorpe lately, it now takes a new bypass around Chickamauga Battlefield. You can keep on old Hwy. 27 straight through the Battlefield if you want to, but please be aware that the speed limit is now 30 all the way through it and it IS ENFORCED! At the end of the bypass you'll go through 2 traffic lights, pass SI Corporation (formerly Synthetic Industries) on your left. The Walker County Civic Center will be on your left somewhere around a mile and a half south of the SI. You shouldn't be able to miss it. If you get to down town Rock Springs (that's the next ONE traffic light, LOL) you've gone too far . . . if you go much further you'll be in Noble (which is now an acronym for Naked Old Bodies Lying Everywhere).
