Ringgold Down Home Christmas Parade

The annual Ringgold Down Home Christmas event will be held on Friday, December 6th. The parade begins at 6:00 PM and travels down Nashville Street and ends at the Ringgold Depot. Line-up will begin at 5:00 PM on Robin Road.

More information will be posted once it is available!

This event also falls on our cruise-in date, does anyone have suggestions on where they'd like to go? Last year after the parade we drove to Pie Slingers in Ft. O.

It was decided at last night's meeting that we will cruise to the McDonald's on Ooltewah-Ringgold Road after the parade. This will get us out of the busy part of town, and there's also a pizza place nearby.

Based off the weather of 100% chance of rain and possible thunder storms, I will not be there... Sad. Dalton had enough sense to reschedule for next week.

As of earlier this week rumors of the Vanagonagon with a Guthrie driving and some Sanders tossing candy were going around...no clue if the rumors are true, we'll see. If not ill meet you guys at the after-parade cruise in. Rosselis is good pizza. :)

I showed up in Ringgold with my brother, his wife and my nephew Cooper. Fielding also showed up in Herbie and we did the parade together. Matthew also showed up and he rode with Fielding.

There were a couple of other bugs ahead of us, a yellow and a white one, but I didn't recognize them or the people driving them. The weather was admittedly yucky but there was still a good number of people out watching the parade. We definitely got soaked though.

After the parade, we went to the McDonald's in Ringgold...didn't feel like driving all the way down to Ooltewah Ringgold Road in this weather. Sorry we missed you guys, hope the cruise-in turned out well!

We left about 8 and headed home.  No one showed up while we were there.

Sorry to let the little feller down . . .  :(  I started having leg cramps just before I left work and by the time I got home, just about every muscle in my body was cramping.  I ate a bunch of potasium, all the grapes I could find, took some asprin, drank a couple gallons of water . . . the cramping finally stopped about 5:00 this morning.  I'm not sure what brought that on, but it 'bout killed me!  Today, I'm so sore I can't hardly move.
