Red Bank Market invite this Saturday, Oct 9

« on: October 06, 2010, 12:51:03 PM »
We just got a call asking our club (and any others with a vintage VWs) to participate in the Red Bank City/Neighborhood Pride market this Saturday, Oct 9.  This will be a place we can display our cars (no parade) along with the Mustang and Corvette clubs.

The time frame would be 10am to 4pm, so please be there no later than 9:30 am. It will be held at the city park on Dayton Blvd across from the Bi-Lo @ Morrison Springs. The weather promises to be great!

Sorry for the late notice, but any time we can all get together and show off our rides, it's a great day!

Sorry we couldn't make it but at this point we don't have any bugs to drive.  The 72 still has the engine out of it and the New Beetle is at Al Johnson's getting the transmission worked.  Hopefully we'll have something running for Oktoberfest.   :) :)

Sorry I couldn't make it.  I spent part of the day watching my grandson's football team get whipped (28-8) and the rest of it trying to remove the head from my daughter's '93 Grand Prix.  After about 8 hours, I'm almost down to the head.  Almost.  >:(  I'd rather been showing off Homer the Superbus any day.   8)

I managed to score 2 sweet licence plate surrounds from the late 60's and the early 70's for the AJ dealership.  Cool.
I didn't realize that the folks from chattanooga brought their cars down for repair.
