Polar Bear Run 2012

« on: December 28, 2011, 07:47:35 PM »
I'm looking at either Jan 21 or Jan 28 for the Polar Bear Run.  Let me know what works best for you and we'll pick a date from that.  It also depends on the weather once we get close.  As in the past, it'll start at 10am and we'll finish up with a lunch somewhere.

Either one works for me!  I suggest setting it for the 21st, with the 28th as a rain date . . . unless of course others have a conflict with the 21st.   8)

Just a few reasons that wouldn't work -- The Polar Bear run is a family outing but no one under 16 is alowed in Pull-A-Part.  A Pull-A-Part trip is an all day event.  You have to leave early and get home late.  It's a long trip and you'll want to make as much of the trip as possible on the interestate and it's kind'a hard to spot polar bears when you're doing 70.   ;D

I think we should meet at the Sportsman Wear-house at Lee Hwy. and 153. The last two times we met at 9:30 - 9:45, and left at 10am sharp. We will end up at Champy's for lunch. Instructions and route will be given out at the starting point.
