Pixar movie "Cars" at Wilderness Outdoor Movie The

« on: June 07, 2006, 05:00:24 PM »
Anyone up for going to the Drive-In to see Cars this Saturday night?  It will be playing at the Wilderness Outdoor Theater in Trenton, GA.  The gates open at 7:30pm and the movie starts at 9:00pm.
General Admission - $5.00, under 13 - $3.00.

This Drive-In is a relatively new attraction in this area.  We are already planning on going down (well, I'll be coming up from Stevenson) and have a good time.  Anyone else want to go?

Well, now that I have started this thread, there seems to be a change of plans.  Linda has mentioned that this movie will be showing this weekend through Monday night.  She might be going to her parents' house this weekend...so, I think that we will be going Monday night instead of Saturday night.  I know that this doesn't help anyone out but ourselves, but it looks like it is the way we have to do it now.

So, now I will probably stay in Stevenson through Sunday.

You could go if you would move out of the swamps and into Gods country.  You got "Gators" and we got "Black Bears" and I'm not sure which is the worse one to deal with, but at least we don't have hurricanes.

I belive you are answering your own question. Why do you want 25 VWs ?  Are you in the scrap business ?  What do you have buses ,bugs ?

Let me restate that.  "I hate to leave, but I don't want to stay" What is that saying to you ? You are in the scrap business on 6 out of 7 kinds of VWs you have. Sorry ,I had to say that.

leaving actually has nothing to do with the # of cars... has to do with having a good job and hook ups on parts... and i really like this town... there is just not much to do here cause i have done it all sooooo many times... which would probably happen anywhere living there 25 years

VWGirl,
Since you're selling the H20 herd, why not
split the difference and move to Huntsville? Lots
of (unzoned) land around to keep live and/or
dead VWs- and as we were one of the big winners
in BRAC, lots of work for the future. Besides, we're
just a few hours drive from BAP9 lol...

Ok...so back to the movie discussion.

We did not go this past Monday night.  We are going to be at Linda's parents' house this Sunday-Monday (won't be at the meeting!) so we think that we ARE going to go on Monday night, June 19th.  Anyone else up for it?  It starts at 9pm, so if you go to the Club Meeting, you can "leave early" and still make it!

(or move the meeting to the drive-in that night, ha-ha-ha)

From the Drive-in website:
Located less than 15 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. From Chattanooga Take I 24 West 10 miles then take I 59 South for 1 mile to the 1st Exit #17 Slygo Rd and follow the signs.

That's all I know.
