Oktoberfest @ the Chattanooga Market

« on: September 20, 2007, 04:38:53 PM »
Oktoberfest will be held Sunday Oct. 14th at The Chattanooga Market.

"This event is certainly one of the most festive days we have at the Chattanooga Market all year. Take in the sights and sounds of Chattanooga's only Oktoberfest celebration all afternoon on the Southside. Two great bands will entertain you and the dance floor will be out for polka dancing.  A classic Volkswagen show always draws crowd. Home Brewing School by Chattanooga's Barley Mob Brewers will make the beer lover in your family a happy person. Of course you can't have an Oktoberfest without a beer garten with fresh grilled bratwurst and German potato salad.  WIENER RACING WILL NOT TAKE PLACE AS A PART OF THE 2007 OKTOBERFEST

Stupie might be able to make it
if I get this steering thing fixed
an steal the ugliest trophy from Homer,   Zen
This might be hard to do  since I don't have tri colored doors  but I'm willing to put a life perserver on the Hood and an power ranger action figure in the hood air vent to get attention

We are planning to be there.  Someone needs to let Nick know if we want to be outside like last year or inside the market.  The weather is supposed to be really nice this weekend.  Inside or outside works.  :)

I like being Inside.  It feels like we are apart of the events more so than being in the parking lot.

Lamar said the same thing as Brian.  It feels like you are more of a part of everything inside.  Have any of the officers let Nick know where we want to be?

Kyle talked to someone at the dealership the other day and they said some lady from the Chattanooga Market called and wanted to know what the check they got from Villiage VW was for.   :-k  Villiag is the main sponsor for Octoberfest . . . and the people in charge don't why they are getting a check from them?   :-s  Their web site has said all along they would have weiner dog racing . . . sometime in the last week they've changed that and now their won't be any weiner dog racing.    I think they have had a "changing of the guards" and the new guards don't have any orders.  As for as I know, we haven't heard anything from anyone with the Chattanooga Market or OLPH.  But their web site says they are having a "Classic VW Show" . . . Inside or outside, I'm going to be there . . . whether they want us or not!    When they had us inside, they "wanted" us to be there by about 11:00.
